Secret Banh Mi Sauce

In my previous recipe, I showed you how to make grilled pork belly with air-fryer. And today, let’s together we make the perfect grilled pork Banh Mi with the secret sauce.

For those who needs the grilled pork recipe:

My boyfriend after tried this Banh Mi, he said “it’s so so good and I should open a Banh Mi shop”

Well, I am in love with this recipe and I highly recommend you to give it a try.

Secret Banh Mi Sauce

Servings: 5

You will need

Instructions

  1. Heat a small sauce pan over medium heat, add 1 tbsp oil with garlic, lemongrass and chili. Stir for 1-2 mins or until fragrant. 

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and bring it to a boil. 

  3. Cook until the sauce gets thickened. Remove from heat and let it cool down. 

  4. Assemble a Banh Mi with the grilled pork ( please check my previous recipe) , coriander, carrot and daikon pickles and cucumber slices. Drizzle the sauce and enjoyyyy, omg I love this recipe 🤞

    I love everything you do, but it is so often so vague. You provide images, no video (yes, on ista but not here) and in this recipe you say ‘assemble with the pickles and cucumber. What pickles? What cucumber? Why are these not on the ingredients list with a link? Sorry, again, I love your site and ista and your obvious (and shared) love for food, but why do I need to half guess your recipes?

      I am really sorry for making it confusing for u. I was just sharing a sauce for Banh mi and I thought the other ingredients like cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon or coriander they are so obvious to see. But thanks so much for your comment, I appreciate it!!! I will be more carefully next time.
