Easy Crispy Fried Chicken

Ha ha ha, I gain weights but it's okay for these delicious crispy wings. (Food comes first, workout later) I've always loved to try different ways to cook chicken especially fried chicken. Because one day, I know I'd love to cook for my kids instead of taking them to KFC or anywhere else. Let's try this!

Cooking Method
Servings 3
You will need
  • 700 g chicken wings
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 egg
  • 60 ml milk
  • 85 g crispy frying mix
  • 35 g cornstarch
  • 35 g tapioca flour
  • Oil for deep-frying
Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chicken wings, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin powder, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, salt, milk and egg. Cover and leave it in the fridge for 2 hours.

  2. In a shallow dish, combine cornstarch, frying mix and tapioca flour. I added 1 tsp of paprika.

  3. Once chicken is ready, pick up each piece and place into the flour mix, shake it before adding to the oil.

  4. Deep-frying until they are golden brown. You always can double-fry to get extra crispy!

  5. Transfer to a serving place with your fav fried chicken sauce. Enjoyyyyyy!
