Easy Savory Oyster Mushrooms

Cooking Method
Ingredients
  • 4 king oyster mushrooms or regular ones
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • The sauce
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 - 1/2 tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • A pinch of pepper
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
Instructions
  1. Slice the mushrooms into 1 cm thick pieces and score.
  2. In a small bowl, combine all the ingredients to make sauce. Set aside.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add cooking oil. Place mushroom slices, scored side down. Cook until they turn golden brown, flip and cook for more 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the sauce and bring it to a simmer boil. Make sure that the mushrooms are well-coated.
  5. Immediately sprinkle green onions.
  6. Serve with steamed rice. BEST 😍😍
