Quick Beef Curry Noodles

Thanks to my mom for making this happen. I hope everyone enjoy this quick noodle recipe!

Cooking Method
Servings 1
You will need
  • 240 g flank steak
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 85 g instant noodles
  • 1/2 onion (diced)
  • 35 g curry roux
  • 550 ml water
  • 1 tsp soy sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 green onion (chopped)
  • 1 tsp seaweed flakes
  • Your fav greens (boiled)
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine beef with ginger, garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, black pepper and brown sugar. Set aside for 20 mins.

  2. Heat frying pan over high heat, add 1 tbsp oil and marinated beef. Leave it cook for a minute until the bottom is brown and easy to move. Stir constantly for 30 seconds then transfer to a plate and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, over medium heat add onion and stir for a minute. Add water and bring it to a boil. Add curry roux and dissolve it.

  4. Bring the heat to low, add noodles and cover with a lid until the noodles are cooked. You can add more soy sauce if you like it more salty. If the sauce is too thick and noodles aren't cooked yet, add more water 1/4 cup at a time. (I added 1/2 cup because my noodles take longer time to cook)

  5. Remove from heat and transfer the noodles to a serving bowl. Pour the curry sauce over, arrange other ingredients: boiled greens, beef, green onions, seaweed flakes and sesame seeds.

  6. Enjoyyyyy 💘
