Savory Tofu Steak

Ingredients
  • 300 g tofu (sliced into 2 thick rectangle pieces)
  • 1 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • 30 ml water
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, prepare sauce by combining teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, chili flakes, water, 1 chopped green onion, ketchup, pepper, sesame oil and vinegar. Set aside.
  2. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add 2 tbsp cooking oil. Place tofu pieces and fry until both sides are golden.
  3. Pour in the prepared sauce and bring it to a simmer boil. Make sure the tofu is well-coated.
  4. Keep it simmer until the sauce has thickened. Remove from heat.
  5. Transfer each piece to a chopping board and slice.
  6. Place over rice, sprinkle sesame seeds and green onion. Enjoyyyy guys 😍😍🌷
