Sticky Chicken With Bell Pepper And Green Beans

Ingredients
  • 250 g Chicken thighs (cut into small pieces)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp sriracha or chili sauce
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 120 g green beans (cut into 4cm long)
  • 150 g bell peppers (cubed)
  • 1 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1-2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes
Instructions

    Place chicken in a bowl with milk, garlic powder, black pepper, salt and sriracha. Combine and let it sit for 30 mins.

    Add cornstarch and flour to the chicken bowl. Coat the chicken with flour and deep-fry over medium high heat until it’s golden. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

    Bring a pot of water to a boil then add green beans, cook for 5 mins. Transfer to a plate.

    Heat a frying pan over medium heat, add 2 tsp cooking oil and garlic. Stir for a min before adding bell peppers. Stir for a mins then add in green beans. Cook for 1-2 mins.

    Stir in chicken, sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Toss well for 2 mins.

    Sprinkle chili flakes and stir well before remove from heat.
